Group Outing: Excursion to the Biltmore Estate

Join fellow AOASM attendees on a group outing to the Biltmore Estate on Thursday, May 1, 2025.  Nestled in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina, the Biltmore Estate stands as a testament to George Vanderbilt’s vision of elegance and refinement. Built in 1895 as a retreat from the demands of city life, America’s largest private home boasts 34 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces, spread across four acres of exquisite floor space. Each room reflects Vanderbilt’s passion for art, culture, and literature, featuring masterpieces by Renoir, Whistler, and Sargent, alongside 16th-century tapestries and a library housing over 24,000 volumes in seven languages.

This year’s group outing offers coach bus transportation to and from the Embassy Suites Asheville Hotel between 4:15 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. Two options to visit the Estate are available for all AOASM attendees and their guests with pre-registration and an additional fee per person outlined below: 

• Excursion 1: $165.00
• This ticket fee includes transportation, ticket entrance into the Biltmore Estate, a ticket to go inside America’s largest private home with a professionally trained and personal guided tour that will be provided of the House. This personalized and unique experience will offer the tour in small groups of 15 or less attendees. Following the house tour, participants may also enjoy the Gardens area and walk the estate grounds adjacent to the House. Following the private tour, transportation will depart for the Antler Hill Village and Winery. Here, guests can enjoy optional wine tasting, shopping, and three restaurant/bars on their own. (Important Note: Price is based on a minimum of thirty (30) guests. If this minimum is not met, the private Guided House Tour will be canceled and the AOASM will refund the participant money in full, or the participant can choose to be apart of Excursion 2 (no house tour) and the difference in the cost per-person will be refund back.) 

• Excursion 2: $109.00 
• This ticket fee includes transportation, and entrance into the Biltmore Estate, Guests will be directed outside to enjoy a self-guided tour of the Estate Gardens that is located adjacent to the house to walk and enjoy the estate grounds, and experience the outside area of the House at your leisure. (The Excursion 2 ticket type does not include going inside to see and tour the Biltmore House.) Guests may also utilize the transportation provided to be dropped off in the Antler Hill Village. Guests there can visit the Farm area, the Legacy Area, the Winery for wine tasting, as well as enjoy shopping. The Village area also offers an ice cream shop, plus three restaurant/bars for additional enjoyment. To register yourself (and your guests), please indicate your attendance on the registration form. (Important Note: A minimum of forty (40) participants is required to sign up for this ticket price, or the excursion will be canceled and refunded to attendees.)
