The American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM) will present
“Sports Medicine: A Pathway to Whole Body Wellness”
The program includes sports medicine topics relevant to physicians in all specialties. We will provide an in-depth review of common musculoskeletal conditions including diagnostic evaluation, management, and return-to-play considerations across pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and disabled athlete populations. The program will also explore concepts of wellness and fostering health, in addition to interventional management and rehabilitation of injuries. All topics will highlight the osteopathic approach to evaluation and management. We will also look at opportunities how to engage populations and institutions that are underserved by Sports Medicine professionals.
Dates: September 20-22, 2024
Location: The 2024 OMED conference will take place at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas
